AN ACT further to amend and extend " The

Telegraphic Messages Act, 1874."

HEREAS it is desirable still further to extend the advantages

Wof the Electric Telegraph, and further to amend the pro-

visions of "The Telegraphic Messages Act, 1874:" Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :—

THE transmission of a writ, as in the first section of this of this Act mentioned, shall be subject to the provisions as to documents in the first and second sub-sections of the fourth section of the said Act contained.

THIS Act may be cited as " The Telegraphic Messages Amendment Act, 1887," and shall be read with " The Telegraphic. Messages Act, 1874," and " The Telegraphic Messages Amendment Act, 1877," as one Act.

Short Title.

I reserve this Bill for the signification of Her Majesty's

pleasure thereon.
