(General Requirements for Analogue Video Customer Equipment Connected to a Telecommunications Network—ACA TS 015 – 1997)

THE AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY, makes the following technical standard under subsection 376 (1) of the Telecommunications Act 1997.

AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY

Title

1.   This Technical Standard may be cited as ACA TS 015 – 1997¹.

[NOTE:  This Standard takes effect on gazettal:  see Telecommunications Act 1997 s. 376 (5).]

Definitions

2.   In this Standard:

“ACA” means the Australian Communications Authority;

“customer equipment” has the meaning it has in the Act;

“telecommunications network” has the meaning it has in subsection 374(1) of the Act;

“the Act” means the Telecommunications Act 1997.

Standard for analogue video customer equipment connected to a telecommunications network

3.   For paragraphs 376 (2) (a), (b), (c) and (d) of the Act, the standard for technical conditions and performance requirements for analogue video customer equipment connected to a telecommunications network is the standard set out in the document known as “ACA TS 015 – 1997” approved by the ACA on 10 December 1997.
