1. Name of Determination

This Determination is the Telecommunications (Section of the Telecommunications Industry) Determination 2007.

1. Commencement

This Determination commences on the same day as Schedule 1 to the Telecommunications Amendment (Integrated Public Number Database) Act 2006.

1. Definition

In this Determination:

Act means the Telecommunications Act 1997.

public number directory has the meaning given by subsection 285 (2) of the Act.

public number directory publisher has the same meaning as in the Telecommunications Integrated Public Number Database Scheme 2007.

1. Application of Determination

This Determination applies to public number directory publishers.

1. Section of the telecommunications industry

(1)   For subsection 110 (3) of the Act, public number directory publishers constitute a section of the telecommunications industry.

(2)   The section may be described as the public number directory publisher section of the telecommunications industry.

1. Revocation of Telecommunications (Section of the Telecommunications Industry) Determination 1998

The Telecommunications (Section of the Telecommunications Industry) Determination 1998 is revoked.
