Telecommunications Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Telecommunications Act 1975.

Use of the emblem of the Commission

1. Regulation 39aof the Telecommunications Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) “Schedule” and substituting “Schedule 1”.

2. The Telecommunications Regulations are amended by adding after regulation 43 the following regulation:

Allowances included in “salary” as defined in sub-section 43a (12) of the Act

“44. The allowances set out in Schedule 2 are declared to be included in salary for the purposes of the definition of “salary” in sub-section 43a(12) of the Act.”.

3. The Schedule to the Telecommunications Regulations is amended by omitting “Schedule” and substituting “Schedule 1”.

4. The Telecommunications Regulations are amended by adding at the end thereof the following Schedule:
