Telecommunications Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Telecommunications Act 1975.

Use of words “Telecom Australia”

Regulation 39 of the Telecommunications Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “A person” and substituting “Except with the consent in writing of the Commission, a person”; and

(b) by inserting in sub-regulation (3) or words resembling those words,” after “ ‘Telecom Australia’”.
