  1. Name of Determination

This Determination is the Telecommunications (Nominated Carrier Declaration Application Charge) Determination 2007.

  1. Commencement

This Determination commences on 1 July 2007.

  1. Revocation

The Telecommunications (Nominated Carrier Declaration Application Charge) Determination 2006 is revoked.

  1. Nominated carrier declaration application charge

(1) In relation to an application by a carrier for a nominated carrier declaration under section 77 of the Telecommunications Act 1997, this section fixes the charge to accompany the application for the expense incurred, or to be incurred, by ACMA.

(2)   The charge is $2 900.

Note   Section 78 of the Telecommunications Act 1997 provides that an application by a carrier under section 77 of that Act must be accompanied by the charge (if any) fixed by a determination under section 60 of the Australian Communications and Media Authority Act 2005 (that is, the charge mentioned is payable by the applicant carrier at the time the application is given to ACMA).
