I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under item 13 of the table in subsection 2 (1) of the Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Competition and Consumer Issues) Act 2005, fix 1 January 2006 as the day on which Schedule 11 to that Act commences.
