4.9Carrier permission and record keeping
(1)This section applies in relation to an item of customer equipment that is to be:
(a)connected to a carrier network or facility; and
(b)used in the supply of public mobile telecommunication services mentioned in Category A53 in Part 2 of Schedule 1.
(2)The supplier of the item must:
(a)obtain written permission from the manager of the carrier network or facility for the item to be connected to the carrier network or facility; and
(b)keep the written permission as a compliance record for the item.
