This Notice is the Telecommunications Labelling (Customer Equipment and Customer Cabling) Amendment Notice 2001 (No. 2).

Amendment of Telecommunications Labelling (Customer Equipment and Customer Cabling) Notice 2001
Schedule 1 amends the Telecommunications Labelling (Customer Equipment and Customer Cabling) Notice 2001.
Schedule 1 Amendments
(section 3)
Section 1.4, definition of applicable standard, paragraph (b)
substitute
(b)if a part only of a standard that is mentioned in column 3 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 applies to the item, that part of the standard;
and includes a standard that has been revoked.
Subsection 4.2 (2), note

Note 1 Suppliers must obtain permission to apply a compliance label only once, before the first time they apply the label to an item.
Note 2 Suppliers are not required to copy the form in Schedule 4. They may create and submit their own forms, which contain, as a minimum, the information mentioned in Schedule 4.
Subsection 6.1 (5), after the example

(6)Subsection (2) does not apply if the applicable standard is ACA TS 034-1997. A supplier must comply with ACA TS 034-1997 as in force from time to time.
