PART 1 ¾ PRELIMINARY

1. Name of determination

This determination is the Telecommunications (Due Date for Annual Carrier Licence Charge) Determination No. 1 of 1999.

1. Commencement

This determination commences on gazettal.

1. Definitions

In this determination, unless the contrary intention appears:

Act means the Telecommunications Act 1997.

annual charge has the meaning given in subsection 73(1) of the Act.

Note:    The following expressions used in this determination are defined in the Act (see section 7):

·    ACA.

1. When annual charge is due and payable

(1)Under subsection 73(3) of the Act, an annual charge is due and payable at the time ascertained in accordance with a written determination made by the ACA.

(2)An annual charge is due and payable 30 calendar days after the date specified on an invoice issued to the person by the ACA.
