1  Name

This instrument is the Telecommunications (Designated Service Area and Statutory Infrastructure Provider) Amendment Declaration (No. 1) 2022.

2  Commencement

(1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Provisions 1.  The whole of this instrument	At the same time as Schedules 2 and 3 of the Telstra Corporation and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2021 commence. However, the provisions do not commence at all if those Schedules do not commence.	Date/Details

3  Authority

This instrument is made under section 360L of the Telecommunications Act 1997 and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Telecommunications (Designated Service Area and Statutory Infrastructure Provider) Declaration (No. 1) 2020

1  Section 4

Omit “Telstra Corporation Limited means Telstra Corporation Limited (ACN 051 775 556), as the company exists from time to time (even if its name is later changed)”, substitute:

“Telstra Limited means Telstra Limited (ACN 086 174 781), as the company exists from time to time (even if its name is later changed)”.

2  Schedule 16A – (heading)  

Omit “Schedule 16A – Telstra Corporation Limited”, substitute:

“Schedule 16A – Telstra Limited”.

3  Schedule 16A – (table heading) 

Omit “Specified areas for which Telstra is the specified carrier and to which this declaration applies”, substitute:

“Specified areas for which Telstra Limited is the specified carrier and to which this declaration applies”.
