The AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA AUTHORITY makes this Determination under subsection 18 (2) of the Telecommunications (Numbering Charges) Act 1997.

1. Name of Determination

This Determination is the Telecommunications (Date of Imposition of Charge) Determination 2007.

1. Commencement

This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.

3              Definition

UTC means Co-ordinated Universal Time as maintained by the Chief Metrologist pursuant to section 8AA of the National Measurement Act 1960.

1. Date of imposition of charge

For the purpose subsection 18 (2) of the Telecommunications (Numbering Charges) Act 1997:

(a)1 April 2007 is determined; and

(b) is to be calculated with reference to UTC.

Note If a carriage service provider holds an allocated number at the beginning of a day determined under subsection 18 (2) of the Telecommunications (Numbering Charges) Act 1997, charge is imposed on the number. The Act requires the day to be in April.
