I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Telecommunications Act 1997.

  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Telecommunications Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 1).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Amendment of Telecommunications Regulations 2001

Schedule 1 amends the Telecommunications Regulations 2001.

Schedule 1          Amendment

(regulation 3)

[1]          After regulation 11.1

insert

11.2Designated overhead line (Act, Schedule 3)

For subparagraph 3 (b) (ii) of Schedule 3 to the Act, the distance of 30 millimetres is specified.
