Application for approval of the Teelak Enterprises Pty Ltd atf Harikrishna Family Trust Enterprise Agreement.

[1] An application has been made for approval of an enterprise agreement known as the Teelak Enterprises Pty Ltd atf Harikrishna Family Trust Enterprise Agreement (the Agreement). The application was made pursuant to s.185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act). The Agreement is a single-enterprise agreement.

[2] I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss.186, 187 and 188 as are relevant to this application for approval have been met.

[3] The Commission notes that the Agreement provides for a nominal expiry date of 30 June 2014, meaning that the Agreement will expire in just over two months. The Commission contacted the Applicant via its representative to confirm the nominal expiry date of the Agreement. The Applicant’s representative has confirmed that the nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 30 June 2014 as stated at clause 3 of the Agreement.

[4] The Agreement is approved. In accordance with s.54(1) the Agreement will operate from 15 April 2014. The nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 30 June 2014.
