Act No. 57, 1976.

An Act to repeal section 6 of the Technical and Further Education Act, 1974. [Assented to, 27th October, 1976.]

BE
BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as
follows: —

1.      This Act may be cited as the "Technical and Further

Education (Amendment) Act, 1976".

2 . The Technical and Further Education Act, 1974, is

amended—

(a)

by omitting from section 3 the matter "6" and by inserting instead the matter "7";

(b) by omitting section 6.

Notwithstanding section 2, but subject to section 4, the Department of Technical and Further Education shall continue to exist under the management and control of the Minister administering section 7 (1) of the Technical and

Further Education Act, 1974.

4.      Nothing in this Act affects any power to establish or

abolish, or change the title of, any Department of the
Government.
