Teaching Service (Amendment) Act

1997†

[Assented to 29 April 1997]

The Parliament of Victoria enacts as follows:

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to make minor amendments to the Teaching Service Act 1981.

2. Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Section 6(3) of the Teaching Service Act 1981 is subsequently
amended by

repealed.

4. Review of appointment of principal etc.

In section 64A of the Teaching Service Act

1981—

(a)

in sub-section (1), for "member of the Principal Class" substitute "principal" (where twice occurring);

(b) sub-section (1A) is repealed.
