Teachers Registration Amendment Regulations 2004

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Teachers Registration Act 2000 .11 August 2004

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Teachers Registration Amendment Regulations 2004 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Teachers Registration Regulations 2001 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Schedule 1 amended (Fees) Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting items 1 and 2 and substituting the following:

1. Application for registration or provisional registration

95.11 fee units

2. Application for a limited authority

95.11 fee units

(b) by omitting item 7 and substituting the following:

7. Replacement certificate of registration or certificate of limited authority

21.93 fee units

These regulations are administered in the Department of Education.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations amend the

(a) increasing the fees payable for certain applications; and (b) reducing the fee payable for replacement certificates.
