AN ACT to amend the Teacher Education Act, 1972-

1977.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Teacher and citation.

Commence-

(1) Subject to subsection (2) of this section the provisions of this Act shall come into operation on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.

added. 3. The principal Act is amended by adding after

section 12 a section as follows-

Section 18

(6) No act or thing done by the Council is invalidated, prejudiced, or affected by reason of any vacancy in the membership of the Council or of any defect, irregularity, or omission in, or in respect of, the appointment or election of a person purporting to be a member of the Council. .

added. 5. The principal Act is amended by adding after

section 40 a section as follows-

Section 96

6. Section 46 of the principal Act is amended by amended.
