Taxi Industry (Taxi Areas) Amendment Regulations 2000

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 1995.13 June 2000

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Taxi Industry (Taxi Areas) Amendment Regulations 2000 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect immediately after the Passenger Transport Act 1997 commences. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Taxi Industry (Taxi Areas) Regulations 1996 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 3 amended (Interpretation) Regulation 3 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " Taxi Industry Act 1995 " from the definition of Act and substituting " Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 1995 ".
