Taxi Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 2004

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Taxi Amendment
Regulations (No. 3) 2004.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Taxi
Regulations 1995* .

3.            Regulation 5 amended

( 1) Regulation 5(1)(c) is amended by deleting "subregulation (2)

and (3)." and inserting instead —

" subregulations (2), (3) and (4). "

(2) After regulation 5(3) the following subregulation is inserted

(4) For the purpose of section 20, the Director General

may impose conditions on the operation of a
multi-purpose taxi in relation to the minimum number
of occasions each month on which the taxi is to be

hired for the transport of persons who use wheelchairs.
