Taxation Administration Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Taxation Administration Act 1953.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Taxation Administration Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   New regulation 2AA

2.1   After regulation 2, insert:

Prescribed Royal Commission

“2AA.

For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of ‘eligible Royal Commission’ in section 2 of the Act, the Royal Commission into the NSW Police Service, created by Letters Patent dated 13 May 1994, is prescribed.”.
