Taxation Administration Amendment Regulations 2005

I, the Administrator in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Taxation Administration Act 1997 .22 June 2005

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Taxation Administration Amendment Regulations 2005 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Taxation Administration Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 4 amended (Permitted disclosures) Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting "77(1)(e)(vi)" and substituting " 77(1)(e)(x) "; (b) by omitting from paragraph (b) " Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 ." and substituting " Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 ;"; (c) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (b) : (c) the following persons who are investigating an alleged breach of Division 2B of Part VI of the Fire Service Act 1979 : (i) the Chief Officer as defined in that Act; (ii) an officer of the Fire Service as defined in that Act.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations amend the

(a) specifying certain persons to be prescribed persons for the purpose of section 77(1)(e)(x) of the Taxation Administration Act 1997 ; and (b) making a minor consequential amendment.
