Taxation Administration Act 1999

1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Taxation Administration Amendment Regulation 2024 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Taxation Administration Regulation 2004.

4. New section 4 (5A)

   insert

   (5A)The following are prescribed for the purpose of administering the Gaming Machine Act 2004, part 2A:

   (a)the commission;

   (b)a gaming officer;

   (c)the director-general of the administrative unit responsible for the Gambling and Racing Control Act 1999.

5. Section 4 (6), new definitions

   insert

   commission—see the Gambling and Racing Control Act 1999, dictionary.

   gaming officer—see the Gambling and Racing Control Act 1999, dictionary.
