1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Taxation Administration Amendment Regulation 2009 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Taxation Administration Regulation 2004.

4. New section 4 (2)

   insert

   (2)A person appointed by the commissioner to conduct an audit of the exercise of the commissioner’s functions under a tax law is prescribed for the purpose of carrying out the audit.
