An Act to amend the Taxation Administration Act 1999

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

1. Name of Act

   This Act is the Taxation Administration Amendment Act 2012.

2. Commencement

   This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This Act amends the Taxation Administration Act 1999.

5. Commissioner authorised to exercise functions of Territory taxation officer under Commonwealth Act

   The commissioner may exercise the functions of a Territory taxation officer under the Taxation Administration Act 1953 (Cwlth), part 3A.

   NoteTerritory taxation officer is defined in the Taxation Administration Act 1953 (Cwlth), s 13D (1).
