An Ordinance to amend the Taxation (Administration) Ordinance 1987

Short title

1.  This Ordinance may be cited as the Taxation (Administration)  (Amendment) Ordinance 1988.1

Commencement

2.  This Ordinance shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 August 1987.

Principal Ordinance

3.  In this Ordinance, “Principal Ordinance” means the Taxation (Administration) Ordinance 1987.2

Eligibility for appointment as public officer

4.  Section 83 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from paragraph (b) “the Territory” and substituting “Australia”.

Failure to appoint public officer

5.  Section 87 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting “79” and substituting “82”.
