Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Tattoo Parlours Act 2012.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is amend the Tattoo Parlours Regulation 2013 to increase the fees payable under the Tattoo Parlours Act 2012:

(a)

for a permit for a body art tattooing show or exhibition or to perform body art tattooing procedures, and

(b) for a licence as a tattooist or tattoo parlour operator, and
(c) for a replacement licence.

The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index (rounded to the nearest general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Tattoo Parlours Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2014.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2014 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.
