I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister, make the following order under section 24 of the Tasmanian State Service Act 1984 .28 June 2000

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Tasmanian State Service (Restructuring) Order 2000 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 1 July 2000. 3Amalgamation of Forensic Science Services Tasmania with Department of Police and Public SafetyForensic Science Services Tasmania, part of the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment, is amalgamated with the Department of Police and Public Safety.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 30 June 2000

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order) This order effects a restructuring of the State Service by amalgamating Forensic Science Services Tasmania with the Department of Police and Public Safety.
