I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 6 of the Tasmanian State Service Act 1984 .15 February 1999

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Tasmanian State Service (Agencies and Heads of Agencies) Order 1999 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal ActIn this order, the Tasmanian State Service Act 1984 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Schedule 1 amended (Agencies)Division 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended by inserting in the item relating to the Department of Police "and Public Safety" after "Police".
