Tasmanian Health Service Regulations 2018
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Tasmanian Health Service Act 2018 .18 June 2018

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Tasmanian Health Service Regulations 2018 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 July 2018. 3InterpretationIn these regulations – Act means the Tasmanian Health Service Act 2018 . 4Prescribed functions of THSFor the purposes of section 17(j) of the Act, it is a function of the THS to assist patients, and their escorts, to travel to and from, and be accommodated at, places at which, or in the vicinity of which, the patients are to receive health services. Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations prescribe that it is a function of the THS to assist patients, and their escorts, to travel to and from, and be accommodated at, places at which, or in the vicinity of which, the patients are to receive health services.
