Tasmanian Health Organisations (Tasmanian Health Service) Order 2015

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 8 of the Tasmanian Health Organisations Act 2011 .13 April 2015

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Tasmanian Health Organisations (Tasmanian Health Service) Order 2015 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 1 July 2015. 3Amalgamation of Tasmanian Health Organisations (1)  Tasmanian Health Organisation – South and Tasmanian Health Organisation – North West are amalgamated into Tasmanian Health Organisation – North. (2)  For the purpose of the amalgamation referred to in subclause (1)  – (a) Schedule 1 to the Tasmanian Health Organisations Act 2011 is amended – (i) by omitting "Tasmanian Health Organisation – South" and "Tasmanian Health Organisation – North West"; and (ii) by altering the name of "Tasmanian Health Organisation – North" to "Tasmanian Health Service"; and (b) Schedule 2 to the Tasmanian Health Organisations Act 2011 is amended – (i) by omitting the heading to the Schedule and substituting "OPERATIONAL AREA OF TASMANIAN HEALTH SERVICE"; and (ii) by omitting Parts 1, 2 and 3 and substituting "All of Tasmania."; and (c) the assets and liabilities of Tasmanian Health Organisation – South and Tasmanian Health Organisation – North West are transferred to the Tasmanian Health Organisation known as the Tasmanian Health Service.
