Tasmania Grant (Gordon River Road) Act 1967 (Cth)

Act to amend the
[Assented to 13 April 1967]
BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia as follows:—
(2.) The
(3.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may
be cited as the
(2.) Section 3 of this Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the day on which the Principal Act came into operation.
(3.) Section 4 of this Act shall be deemed to have
come into operation on the day on which the
(
a )by omitting the definition of “the Gordon River road” and inserting in its stead the following definition:—“‘the Gordon River road’ means a road approximately fifty-three miles in length commencing at a point one and one-quarter miles or thereabouts to the west of Maydena in the State and ending at a point on the Gordon River approximately one-half mile upstream from the junction of that river with the Serpentine River together with two branch roads of a total length of approximately two miles between points on that first-mentioned road and points on the Gordon River further upstream;”; and
(
b ) by omitting from the definition of “the prescribed period” the word “four” and inserting in its stead the word “six”.
