TASMANIA GRANT.
No. 25 of 1943.
An Act to grant and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund a
sum for the purpose of Financial Assistance to the State of Tasmania.

Preamble.
BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent
Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of
Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House
of Representatives, as follows:—
Short
title.
1.This
Act may be cited as the Tasmania Grant
Act 1943.
Commencement.
2.This
Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
Payment
for financial assistance to State of Tasmania.
3.There
shall be payable to the State of Tasmania, in respect of the year which
commenced on the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and forty-two,
for the purposes of financial assistance, in addition to the sum granted by the
States Grants Act 1942, the sum of
Two hundred thousand pounds.
Appropriation.
4. Payment in accordance with this Act shall be made out of the
Consolidated Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly.
