Taronga Zoological Park (Amendment) Act 1969 (NSW)

2. All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 rood 9 perches be the same more or less situate in the Municipality of Mosman County of Cumber­ land Parish of Willoughby being portion 1209 as shown on plan catalogued C 9638-2030 in the Department of Lands, Sydney, is hereby divested from The Maritime Services Board of New South Wales, constituted under the Maritime Services Act, 1935, and vested in Her Majesty.

3. (1) The Taronga Zoological Park Act, 1956, is

amended—

(a)	by omitting from subsection one of section two the word "is" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "and the land described in Schedule 1A to this Act a re" ;
(b)	by inserting next after subsection two of section three the following new subsection :—

(2A ) The persons who were the trustees of the Park land immediately before the commencement of the Taronga Zoological Park (Amendment) Act, 1969, shall be the trustees of the land described in Schedule 1A to this Act under the name of the "Trustees of Taronga Zoological Park".

(d) by omitting from the First Schedule the words "by admeasurement" and by inserting in lieu thereof the word "about"; (e)

(c) by inserting at the end of section five the words "The by-laws applicable to the Park land shall apply, mutatis mutandis, to and in respect of the land described in Schedule 1A to this Act ." ;

(e) by inserting next after the First Schedule the following new Schedule :—

SCHEDULE 1A.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 rood 9 perches be the same more or less situate in the Municipality of Mosman County of Cumberland Parish of Willoughby being portion 1209 as shown on plan catalogued C 9638-2030 in the Department of Lands, Sydney.

( 2 ) All acts, matters and things done by the trustees

for the time being of Taronga Zoological Park before the commencement of this Act on or in relation to the land described in section two of this Act or any part thereof shall be as valid and effectual as if this Act had been in force at the time such acts, matters and things were done.
