result of their impiiries ; And whereas, after tlic receipt of the said
report, tliat is to say on the cighteentli day of April, one thousand
eight Imndred and ninety-four, the said Asscml)ly by I’esolution
declared that it was expedient tliat the said Work should he carried

| day of April in the year last-mentioned : Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s JMost Excellent Majesty, by and AAuth the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of N cav South AYalcs in Barliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as folloAvs :— |
1. The carrying out of the said Avork more particularly described Work sanciioneci.
in the Schedule to this Act is herehy sanctioned; and the Secretary for Buhlic AVorks, or the Alember of tlie ExecutiAm Council for the time being ])('rforming tlie duties of the said Secretary, is hereby authorised to undertake and carry out the said avoiE subject to the provusions of this Act, and for that purpose shall be and shall have the poAvers and duties of a Constructing Authority Avithin the meaning of the Buhlic AA'orks Act of 1888. The plan of the said work is the plan marked “ I ’aniAVorth AAMter Supply AVorks,” signed by the Secretary for Buhlic AÂ orks and countersigned by the Enginccr-in-Chicf for Harbours and Hi vers, and deposited in the office of the said Secretary.
2. The cost of carrying out the AAnrk herehy sanctioned. Cost, iiow lo bo

A\ ithin the meaning of section one hundred and tAventy-four of the said
Act.
1. This Act maybe cited as the “ Tamworth Water Supply short title.
AÂ orks Act, 1894,” and shall be construed as one Avith the Country
T oavus AÂ atcr and ScAverage Act of 1880, the Country ToAvns AAMtcr
and Sewerage Act Extension Act of 1887, and the Country ToAvns and Hunter District Water Supply and ScAverage Acts Amendment Act of 1894.
SCHEDULE.
Wiitcr Supply for the town of Tamworth, counties of Inglis and Parry, parislics of
Tamworth and jVcuiiiigha.
The proposed works are shown by red lines on tlie plan referred to in Section one of this

1. An infiltration brick well, about thirty foot in diameter and thirty feet deep, to bo sunk in the drift near the confluence of the Peel and Cockburu Kivers at Tamworth.
2. An engine-house and steam-pumping machinery.
3. A concrete service reservoir, about eighty feet in diameter and seventeen feet
deep.
4. About sixty-seven cliains of nine-inch wrought-iroji plpe.s, from th.e well t(j the
service reservoir.
5. About uiiuheen and a half miles of six-inch, four-inch, and three-inch reticulation
jiipes, with hydrants, &c.
