SZLTW & ANOR
v
MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION AND CITIZENSHIP & ANOR
[2008] HCASL 583
S374/2008

  1. The applicants, citizens of India, seek special leave to appeal against orders of a single judge of the Federal Court of Australia (Stone J) dismissing the applicants' appeal against orders of the Federal Magistrates Court (Emmett FM). The Federal Magistrate dismissed an application for relief under s 39B of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth) directed to the Refugee Review Tribunal in respect of its decision affirming the refusal to grant the applicants protection (Class XA) visas.

  2. The applicants' draft notice of appeal follows a common form.  Their written submissions do not raise a question of principle of general public importance which would warrant consideration by this Court, nor is there any reason to doubt the correctness of the conclusions reached in the decision of Stone J.

  3. Pursuant to r 41.10.5 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
