v
MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION AND CITIZENSHIP & ANOR
[2008] HCASL 523
S274/2008
The applicant seeks special leave to appeal against orders of a single judge of the Federal Court of Australia (Marshall J) dismissing the applicant's appeal against orders of the Federal Magistrates Court. The Federal Magistrate (Orchiston FM) had dismissed the applicant's claim for relief under s 39B of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth) in relation to the decision of the Refugee Review Tribunal affirming the refusal to grant the applicant a protection visa.
The applicant advances no argument justifying a grant of special leave. There is no reason shown to doubt the correctness of the conclusions reached in the courts below that no ground for granting the relief sought was established. An appeal to this Court would enjoy no prospect of success.
Pursuant to r 41.10.5 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
