[2008] HCASL 522

SZKOR & ANOR
v
MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION AND CITIZENSHIP & ANOR
[2008] HCASL 522
S268/2008

  1. The applicants seek special leave to appeal against orders of a single judge of the Federal Court of Australia (Jessup J) dismissing the applicants' appeal against orders of the Federal Magistrates Court. The Federal Magistrate (Nicholls FM) had dismissed the applicants' claim for relief under s 39B of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth) in relation to the Refugee Review Tribunal's decision to affirm the refusal to grant the applicants protection visas.

  2. The arguments which the applicants seek to advance in this case enjoy no reasonable prospect of success.  No reason is given to doubt the correctness of the conclusions reached in the courts below.

  3. Pursuant to r 41.10.5 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
