v
MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION AND CITIZENSHIP & ANOR
[2008] HCASL 144
S483/2007
The applicant, a citizen of India, seeks special leave to appeal against the orders of a single judge of the Federal Court of Australia (French J) exercising the appellate jurisdiction of that Court. By those orders, French J dismissed the applicant's appeal against orders of the Federal Magistrates Court (Cameron FM). The Federal Magistrate had dismissed an application for relief under s 39B of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth) directed to the Refugee Review Tribunal in respect of its decision to affirm the decision of a delegate of the Minister to refuse to grant the applicant a Protection (Class XA) visa.
The applicant's written submissions follow a common form and the applicant has not identified any question of law which would justify a grant of special leave to appeal. There is no reason to doubt the correctness of the decisions below.
Pursuant to r 41.10.5 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
