SZJRR & ANOR
v
MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION AND CITIZENSHIP & ANOR
[2008] HCASL 259
S613/2007

  1. The applicants seek special leave to appeal against the orders of a single judge of the Federal Court of Australia (Ryan J) dismissing an appeal against orders of the Federal Magistrates Court. The Federal Magistrate (Driver FM) had dismissed the applicants' claim for relief under s 39B of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth) directed to the Refugee Review Tribunal in respect of its decision to affirm the refusal to grant the applicants a protection visa. The applicants did not respond to the Tribunal's requests for further information relating to the claims the applicants made in support of their application for a protection visa and did not attend the hearing before the Tribunal.

  2. The decision of Ryan J is not attended by doubt.

  3. Pursuant to r 41.10.5 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
