Sydney Water Catchment Management Amendment Act 2003 (NSW)

An Act to amend the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998 with respect to the generation and supply of hydro-electricity by the Sydney Catchment Authority.

This Act is the Sydney Water Catchment Management Amendment Act 2003.

2Commencement

This Act commences on the date of assent.

The Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

Insert at the end of paragraph (c) in the definition of catchment infrastructure works:

Insert after section 16 (1) (c):

to generate and supply hydro-electricity and undertake any associated activities, whether on the Authority’s own account or with others,

any money received by the Authority from the generation and supply of hydro-electricity,
