Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, in pursuance of section 51 of the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998 and on the recommendation of the Minister for the Environment, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to declare that the Prospect Reservoir and certain land surrounding that reservoir are controlled areas for the purposes of the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998.

This Order is made under section 51 of that Act.

Areas) Order 2000

1     Name of Order

This Order is the Sydney Water Catchment Management (Controlled

Areas) Order 2000.

2 Commencement

This Order commences on 1 July 2000.

3     Controlled areas

The Prospect Reservoir and the area of land surrounding that reservoir, as shown red on the map marked “Prospect Reservoir, Controlled Area”, dated 1 July 2000 and deposited in the office of the Sydney Catchment Authority, are declared to be controlled areas for the purposes of section 51 of the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998.
