GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council and in pursuance of section 41 (1) and (2) of the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to declare that certain areas of land to be the inner catchment area and the outer catchment area of the Sydney Catchment Authority (constituted by the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998).
This Order is made under section 41 (1) and (2) of that Act.

1 Name of Order
This Order is the Sydney Water Catchment Management (Catchment
Areas) Order 1999.
2 Commencement
This Order commences on the date of commencement of Part 5 (of the
Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998).
3 Catchment Areas
(a) For the purposes of section 41 (1) of the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998, the inner catchment area of the Sydney Catchment Authority is: (i) the area of land within all the special areas of the Sydney Catchment Authority except the area of land within the Richmond, Windsor, Penrith, O’Hares Creek and Devines Weir special areas; and
(ii) The hydrological catchment of the Prospect Reservoir.
(b) For the purposes of section 41 (2) of the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998, the outer catchment are of the Sydney Catchment Authority is the area of land within the hydrological catchments of:
(i) the Warragamba River and its tributaries which drain to Lake Burragorang; (ii) the Shoalhaven River and its tributaries which drain to Lake Yarrunga; and (iii) Greaves, Whipcord, Woodford and Cascades Creeks; but excluding the inner catchment area described in clause (a) above.
