(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South
Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 16 April 1999 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)	Division 4 of Part 3,
(b)	section 33 in its application to a report furnished to the Minister under section 24,
(c)	section 38 in its application to arrangements under section 22.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the Sydney Water Catchment Management Act 1998 relating to the requirement of the Sydney Water Catchment Authority to enter into arrangements with Sydney Water Corporation regarding the supply of water to the Corporation by the Authority.
