| filled. | ]M ember of the said LTniversity and every person having taken the Degree of M aster of A rts Doctor of Laws or Doctor of Medicine and keeping his name in accordance with any by-law in th a t behalf on the Begister of the said University shall have the same privilege as the existing Eellows now have of attending and voting at the election of Eellows and every future vacancy by death resignation or otherwise among the Eellows for the time being shall be filled up by the election at a meeting duly convened for the purpose of such other fit and proper person as may be elected to fill such vacancy by the majority of the folloAving persons present at such meetings viz.—^Eellows of the Senate of the said U ni versity for the time being—Professors and other persons so as last aforesaid declared to be Members of the said L^niversity— Graduates keeping their names on the Begister of the University who shall have |

taken within the said University any or either of the Degrees of M aster of Arts Doctor of Laws or Doctor of Medicine Provided th a t unless l)y death or resignation no such vacancy shall occur for any cause not previously specified hy some by-law of the University duly passed.
5. The Chief Officers of the University now called Provost and rrovost ami vito

Provost and Vice Provost shall he the first Chancellor and Vice Chancellor respectively And that all the provisions of the said Act of Incorporation now applicable to the Provost and Vice Provost and to their respective offices shall apply to the Chancellor and Vice Chan cellor ar d their offices respectively.
