(Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 7—(Multi-Unit Housing: Surplus

Government Sites) (Amendment No. 6))

I, the Minister for Planning, in pursuance of section 51 of the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, make the Regional

Environmental Plan set out hereunder.

Citation

1. This plan may be cited as Sydney Regional Environmental Plan

No. 7—(Multi-Unit Housing: Surplus Government Sites) (Amendment

No. 6).

Principal Plan

2. For the purposes of this plan, Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 7—(Multi-Unit Housing: Surplus Government Sites) is referred to as the Principal Plan.

Aims, objectives etc.

3. This plan aims:

(a)

to extend the application of the Principal Plan to the land to which this plan applies; and

(b)

to allow development for the purpose of community facilities and educational establishments on certain land in the City of Willoughby.

Land to which this plan applies

4. This plan applies to land shown in a distinctive manner on the 2 sheets of the map marked “Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 7— (Multi-Unit Housing: Surplus Government Sites) (Amendment No. 6)” deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Planning.

Relationship to other environmental planning instruments

5. (1) This plan amends the Principal Plan in the manner set out in

clause 6.

(2) The amendments made to the Principal Plan have the effect of

amending the following:

Willoughby Local Environmental Plan No. 40;

Parramatta Local Environmental Plan 1993 (Dundas Ward).

(3) This plan also amends Willoughby Local Environmental Plan in the

manner set out in clause 7.

Amendment of Principal Plan

6. The Principal Plan is amended:

(a) by inserting at the end of Schedule 1 the following matter:

Land at Naremburn, being land shown coloured light scarlet, with dark red edging and lettered “2 (b)” and “2 (c)” on Sheet 1 of the map marked “Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 7—(Multi-Unit Housing: Surplus Government Sites) (Amendment No. 6)” deposited in the office of the Department and a copy of which is deposited in the office of the Council of the City of Willoughby.

Land at Carlingford, being land shown coloured pink, edged black and lettered “2 (b)” on Sheet 2 of the map marked “Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 7—(Multi-Unit Housing: Surplus Government Sites) (Amendment No. 6)” deposited in the office of the Department and a copy of which is deposited in the office of the Council of the City of Parramatta.

(b)

by inserting at the end of Schedule 2 the following matter:

Amendment of Willoughby Local Environmental Plan No. 40

27. Willoughby Local Environmental Plan No. 40 is amended:

(a)

by inserting at the end of the definition of “the map” in clause 6 (1) the following words:

Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 7— (Multi-Unit Housing: Surplus Government Sites) (Amendment No. 6)—Sheet 1 (being a sheet of a map deposited in the office of the Department of Planning and a copy of which is deposited in the office of the Council).

(b)

by inserting after clause 16 the following clause:

Application of SEPP No. 25 to certain land

16A. (1) This clause applies to land within Zone No. 2 (b) shown on the map marked “Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 7—(Multi-Unit Housing: Surplus Government Sites) (Amendment No. 6)—Sheet 1” (being a sheet of a map deposited in the office of the Department of Planning and a copy of which is deposited in the office of the Council).

(2) The provisions of clauses 6 (2) and (3), 7 (2) and (3) and 8 (2)–(4) of State Environmental Planning Policy No. 25—Residential Allotment Sizes and Dual Occupancy Subdivision apply to and in respect of the land to which this clause applies in the same way as those provisions apply to and in respect of the land specified or described in Schedule 2 to that Policy.

Amendment of Parramatta Local Environmental Plan

1993 (Dundas Ward)

28. Parramatta Local Environmental Plan 1993 (Dundas Ward) is amended by inserting at the end of the definition of “the map” in clause 5 (1) the following words:

Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 7— (Multi-Unit Housing: Surplus Government Sites) (Amendment No. 6)—Sheet 2 (being a sheet of a map deposited in the office of the Department of Planning and a copy of which is deposited in the office of the council).

Amendment of Willoughby Local Environmental Plan No. 40

7. Willoughby Local Environmental Plan No. 40 is amended by

inserting at the end of Schedule 6 the following words:
