of the present year and the first half of the (msuing year Be it there­ fore enacted hy His Excellency the Governor of New South Wales hy and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof as follows :—

Rate of 4d. in the	1. The Commissioners of the City of Sydney shall for the now currcut half year a rate of four-pence in the pound on the whole of the property in the said City according to its present assessed valui'.

current half year

and of 3d. in the 2. The Said Commissioiiers shall collect a rate of three-pence in

year pouiid for thc saiiic purposes for the half year commencing from

the first of January next.
