An Act to make permanent provision for the
Sydney Mint. [21st April, 1865.]

of t he Roya l M i n t Be i t therefore enacted by t h e Queen ' s Most Exce l l en t Majesty by and wi th the advice and consent of t he Legislat ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled and by t h e au thor i ty of t h e same as follows :—
1. There shal l be payable to H e r Majesty in every year ou t of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e Fund of t h e Colony a sum or sums not exceeding in t h e whole in any year the sum of fifteen thousand pounds for defraying the salaries cont ingencies re t i r ing and other al lowances connected w i t h t h e es tabl i shment of t he Sydney B r a n c h of t he R o y a l M i n t Provided t h a t such year ly paymen t s shall t ake effect and begin to r u n on and from the day upon which a proc lamat ion issued by Her Majesty in E n g l a n d shall be duly publ ished in th i s Colony declar ing t h a t t h e coin issued from the said Sydney B r a n c h is to be a legal t ender for p a y m e n t s wi th in t he U n i t e d K i n g d o m of Grea t Br i ta in and I r e l and .
2. The said several sums of money shall be paid by the
| Colonial Treasurer in discharge of such w a r r a n t s as shall from | t ime |
| to t ime be issued u n d e r t h e hand of t h e Governor | A n d the said |
Treasurer shall account to H e r Majesty for t h e same t h r o u g h t h e Lords Commissioners of H e r Majesty 's Treasury in such m a n n e r and form as H e r Majesty shall be graciously pleased to direct.
3 . F rom and after t he day on which t h e aforesaid year ly pay m e n t s shal l commence all sums by way of fees dues or charges lawfully received or collected at t h e Sydney B r a n c h shall be from t ime to t ime accounted for a n d paid over by t h e D e p u t y Mas t e r or o ther proper officer of t h e said B r a n c h to t he Colonial Treasure r to be by h i m paid in to t h e Consolidated Revenue F u n d of t h e Colony.
4. This A c t shall be styled and m a y be cited as t he " Sydney
