(RATING) ACT.

Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Sydney Harbour Trust (Rating) Act, 1919."

2 . Section thirty-nine of the Sydney Harbour Trust

Act, 1900, is amended by omitting the words " upon
houses and buildings erected on such lands and leased"
and by inserting in lieu thereof the words " upon the unimproved capital value of such lands or upon bouses and buildings erected on such lands as are leased."
3 . The definition of " ratable property " in subsection one of section three of the Sydney Corporation (Amend­ ment) Act, 1908, is amended as follows :—

(a) In paragraph (iii) omit the words "or in the

(b) After paragraph (iii) add a new paragraph as- follows :—

(iv)   Such lands vested in the Sydney Harbour Trust Commissioners, and the houses and buildings erected thereon as are not leased or occupied for private purposes and by persons other than the said Commissioners, their officers or servants.
