Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to substitute the description of the foreshore area contained in Schedule 1 to the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998 (being land on or in the vicinity of the foreshores of Sydney Harbour in respect of which the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority exercises its functions under that Act).

This Regulation is made under the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998, including sections 45 and 46 (the general regulation-making power).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority
Amendment (Foreshore Area) Regulation 2002.

2 Amendment of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998 No 170

The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998 is amended by omitting the matter in Schedule 1 and by inserting instead the following:

The area bounded by a heavy black line drawn on the map marked “SydneyHarbour Foreshore Authority—ForeshoreArea—Amendment No 3” catalogue number 05099916007, dated 15 February 2002, copies of which are deposited in the offices of the Authority and the Department of Planning.
